Do it is a website offering volunteering opportunities.  The majority of opportunities on Do-it come from local Volunteer Centres in England. In addition, some national organisations also post their opportunities.

Reach Volunteering  provides people with business, professional and managerial or technical backgroundw with access to volunteering opportunities.  Fifty per cent of Reach's volunteers are aged 50+.  Reach asks that volunteers have at least three years experience and in return can offer roles as broad as IT project management, business planning, marketing, web design, copy writing, HR, financial management and many other areas.  Reach offers short term projects, longer term roles and also access to trustee positions in charities across the UK. 

Timebank is a national volunteering charity that supports individuals and businesses to find rewarding volunteering. Timebank also also designs its own projects that give volunteers the opportunity to have an impact in the community.

Retired and Senior Volunteering Programme (RSVP) is the only UK wide organisation that offers the opportunity to everyone over the age of 50 to volunteer.

Sue Ryder Care relies on the support of more than 8,000 volunteers in a range of roles across Britain.
